A real post :)

When I post articles and things I feel guilty if I don't do a real post. Not sure if this is a short or long one, though... we shall see!

Tomorrow I'm going to an emergency workshop at HSDC (Hearing, Speech, and Deafness Center) in Seattle about emergencies and Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing. Should be good - it's taught by one of our Deaf contractors who's just a sweetheart. I'm kind of looking forward to it. After that is Bob's aunt's funeral. Well, the funeral is WHILE I'll be in the training but the "family" part is after. I'm going to make it to that.

If you're in Olympia this weekend, you should head out to the Olympia High School BEARZaar. We'll be there selling stuff, as will Johnne. Please pray that we sell at least one (hopefully MORE) of the big dogs. They go for $150-180... it would be wonderful to NOT have to CARRY them again, store them again, AND to get the moolah for them.

Jesus has been acting crazily in my life. :) I love it. I love HIM. It's SO good. Tuesday night we made flags and it was SO great. We were all laughing and dancing around and playing--all in order to worship the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. I LOVE it. I've honestly never worshiped with a flag before, so I'm excited to do so. Even if it's not really my "thing", it'll be so good to at least know kind of what I'm doing. ;) AND He was able to speak to me because of the fabric I chose for my flag. Pretty crazy, eh? What did I tell you?! :) hehe

I'm finishing up reading the "Mark of the Lion" series by Francine Rivers. Wow... I loved the first one and the 2nd 2 are just as good. I like finding GOOD Christian authors--unfortunately they're rare. I'd really recommend these books--besides just being good reading, they have challenged me... what the characters are praying and thinking are the same struggles *I* go through and it's just a good reminder for me to be closer to Jesus.

Still getting used to work. Today I had a meeting about the SLI contract and I think it went well. It's good stuff.

OK, I'm going to go play for a few minutes, toss my laundry into the dryer and then go READ! :) Night all and BIG hugs! :)

I read the first one of that series. Even now, I think of those characters in how I might react to certain situations.
