Sunday

Yup, it's almost 8:30 on Saturday night. Tomorrow's Sunday. I'm kind of excited about what I'm teaching tomorrow. It's based on a verse that I've wanted to talk about for a long time... because it's got so much history and... it's just cool! :) 2 Corinthians 3:18 "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with everincreasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." It goes back to Moses when he came down from Mt. Sinai and his face reflected the glory of God... it literally SHONE with radiance. I just think that's incredible! From spending time with God, Moses' skin GLOWED. Cool, huh?

Thanks for letting me ramble about this tonight, Jenni... It really DOES help to go over this stuff with someone. That's one thing I'm looking forward to when I get married. I want a sounding board who will be truthful with me, who will tell me when I'm right on the mark or a little off. And I want to do the same for him. A team, serving God, loving Him and people and each other. I want so much from that relationship. That's a good thing, I think.

I'm going to a first time home-buyers meeting after work on Tuesday. I figure that I'll be in a house this summer. I just consolidated my loans (well, I sent off some final paperwork today) and that's saving me some money right now (and the hassle of 2 payments!). It's just TIME.

I've been reading a lot lately. I still have your list of books, Barbara... One you gave us from interpreting way back when... some that you really like. So far I've read The Good Earth by Pearl Buck and Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. I've got Nectar in a Sieve from the library and I'm waiting for The Sparrow.

By back went nuts yesterday... went to the chiropractor... it helped but I may end up going again on Monday. I'm taking Aleve and it's helping a little. Actually, I can breathe today so I guess that's a HUGE difference! It's just uncomfort now. :)

God is good. :)
