I got this from some A/G missionaries---wanted to share it. God is good, isn't He?
Dear Pastors and missions boards,
Thank you so much for your patience with me as I have been away from home during most of the last three months. I arrived back Easter Sunday at 4:00 in the morning, tired yet enthusiastic about the work that we have been able to accomplish. With your help we have been able to fully take on five villages above and beyond the 22 that AGWM has provided for. As well we have been able to construct two new orphanages that the local A/G churches are now running. A team from Colorado just left from constructing the new dormitories for one orphanage in the hard hit city of Gaul. There are multiple stories that I could recount to you at this time but I think the most touching thing is the look in the eye’s of those who receive what you have provided. There is often laughter where there has been none for so long. Most of the time there are tears, and there is always the preaching of the gospel. They are wide open! There are entire villages that have turned to Jesus during this horrible time. We are not finished yet by any means. We have three stages, Food and water, Medical, and reconstruction. We have completed the first two and are now on the longest – reconstruction. Things are starting to smooth out and the initial shock is starting to fade. One other exciting thing we are now doing with the funds you provided is re-outfitting fisherman that lost everything. We are providing nets, hooks, and boats to those who have lost their livelihoods. I am sorry if this e-mail seems to be all over the place but there is so much to talk about and yet I want to just give you a “bite” of what is happening so you can share it with your congregations. Again thank you so much for your contributions I can not tell you how much of a blessing it has been and still is! We love you all and are so appreciative that we can be a small extension of Christ’s love from the church at home. May God Richly bless you all,
Greg and Kim Roane
