Why does everyone love the song "Live Like You Were Dying" so much? I'm a MUCH bigger fan of "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts--and yet the first one won song of the year for the ACM Awards. Ugh.

I'm voting for Carrie right now. GO CARRIE! Sara has gotten through WAY more times than I have--SO not fair. She better make it. I think Vonzell's going to go this week.

Just finished reading Zephaniah last night.... SO interesting... it has prophecy for his contemporaries, for the Messiah, and for the future of US. I haven't delved into an OT prophet for awhile. It felt good... it really made me think so I read it kind of slow... had to use some study tools to understand some of it--especially cultural issues. Not sure where I'm going to go tonight... I spent some time in Galations recently and learned a LOT. I may grab a Psalm or two and then either head over to an epistle or another minor prophet. Either that or maybe I'll go to Samuel... I encouraged one of our church members to head there the other day to read about David.

This weekend changed me. I realized some very important things about who God created me to be... and even what He has called me to do with my life, gifts, skills, even weaknesses. GOOD STUFF. I could use your prayer about some upcoming opportunities. Thanks!

Oh sad, I LIKE Zephaniah...I was like YAY Zephaniah! But no. Sounds like you are really growing and that's fun to listen in on...your description of where you've been reading was funny, sounds like you are traveling over a countryside or something. ;) Love you.

It's what it feels like sometimes. :) Maybe I'll voyage on over to Zephaniah tonight. I like it, too. I read a chapter of Proverbs (for some reason picked the chapter with TWO references to a nagging wife...! Note to self... ;) hehe) and then Haggai last night. GOOD stuff :)
