Today I stayed home from work sick. It was that very beginning of sickness feeling, when you're probably feeling OK enough to make it in, but you won't be very productive and you'll feel icky and wish you were in bed, but you don't feel like you're bad enough to take sick leave and so you feel bad whether you take the day off or don't and if you don't you just spread your germs around so everyone else gets sick.
Well. I took the day off. And I don't feel perfect, but I'm hoping that, by taking it easy tomorrow and getting a good night's sleep tonight I'll be OK. My ears still hurt a little, and I'm tired. But God is good.
It's funny... We had game night tonight and literally no one showed up. There were three of us. Well, 4 if you count the 4 year old. But she was fun, so I'll count her, so there were four of us. But we had fun and were faithful and I think that's what it's all about. Especially in Deaf ministry. It's all about answering the call and being faithful. And that's why I titled this "Satisfaction." Because I feel satisfied that I obeyed my Lord--even when I wasn't feeling good, I answered His call. Johnne, I hope you're reading this and feeling the same, too.
Changes are gonna start rolling soon. Please pray for faith and that I can hear His direction.
