So I just went out to organize my greeting cards and finish watching the musical "Into the Woods" that I got from the library.
THE TELEVISION WILL NOT TURN OFF!!!!
What's up with that?! The remote works fine, it's not dead. It's the actual television itself--it's an old one, and it's the part with the buttons and the readout that shows what channel it's on. UGH. I think the plug is BEHIND the LARGE entertainment center. There's no way I can move that thing by myself without breaking anything. At least I can use the cable remote to turn the volume down. It's just going to stay on all night!

You could always turn off the circuit breaker in your electrical panel until you are able to find out what the deal is with the TV...
LOL Circuit breaker is harder to get to than the plug for the TV!
Good idea though. ;)
If you can't get to your panel, then that is a real safety hazard! Also a code violation :nono: ;-)
Be safe, Emily!
Talk to the parental units. I have nothing to do with it.
