The Singles Tirade

OK, maybe not a tirade. I just... I just get so frustrated that everything in life is dedicated to having "that special someone." What about the rest of us?

More than half of Americans aren't married. Don't we count for something?

It probably doesn't help, but I get really frustrated that most mother things are focused at stay at home moms. Everything I've found for mothers happens in the morning on weekdays! Makes me feel like I don't count for anything either and trust me, I've got a pretty hard job too, balancing motherhood AND a "career".
So . . . I guess this is to say, that though I am not in your shoes, we all have our issues and our discriminations.
But, I'm sorry that you are running into this stereotype. Like everything in life, there are positives and negatives on both sides.

I still remember what that feels like Emily. Plus that and I hate Mother's Day .. at least I do for now. It's hard to think about celebrating when you're hurting. But hey .. I do still remember how painfully lonely it can be and if I were there I'd give you a squeeze and let you tirade as much as you wanted to :)
